![]() ![]() This gives the player an opportunity to seize military control of Rome and overthrow The Senate as they will have enough popular support by the people who will approve of it once the player has a certain amount of power and support and doing so will allow the player to become Emperor, doing so will cause the two other factions, The House of Scipii and The House of Brutii to declare war on them. As you go on the Player will eventually overthrow The Senate to become Emperor, throughout the game The Senate will give the player missions to achieve domination over West and Eastern Europe, eventually The Senate will order the player to kill off their Faction Leader, if the player agrees to their demands they will be rewarded greatly however, if the player refuses then they will trigger a Civil War and be declared as outlaws of Rome. The best option of choosing a Faction is The House of Julii as these are one of the most powerful Factions in the game and have highly talented, skilled and trained warrior's making their Military Power a superpower. A Faction Heir is usually chosen by Oldest to Youngest, the oldest will become the Faction Heir and when their father has died, will they become Faction Leader (if the player does not change them from Faction Heir).Įach Faction Leader is tasked with missions by the senate, The House of Julii is tasked with dominating the East and West of Europe, The House of Brutii is tasked with dominating Macedon and Greece and The House of Scipii is tasked with dominating Carthage. New Family Members can be born when the Faction Leader marries and has a child which can then grow up and marry the woman they love. If the player does not believe that his current Faction Heir is not suitable to take power then this can be changed by going to the Family Tree by clicking the Bottom-Left Corner and going to the Family Tree where the player must hold a Family Leader's Portrait (grey portraits are deceased individuals and can not be changed to Faction Heir) and change the one he thinks is best suitable to Faction Heir. Upon the Faction Leader's death the Faction Leader's oldest son The Faction heir will then take up the role of Faction Leader. He will lead his faction until he dies of either Natural Causes, Battle, An assassination or a Disaster.
